Anyone Recruit You? Haha, no.
Character Info
Name: Norali
Rank: Senior Weyrwoman
Age: 25 Turns
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Tall and lanky, Norali looks slightly disproportionate, like her limbs were originally molded out of stretchy taffy that just didn't settle quite right. Her extremities, too, are quite long and large. Her wide flat palm has exceptionally long fingers for a female. Norali's feet are unusually long and even now as an adult she will occasionally trip up on them. With very narrow hips, making her form look just a shade more masculine than feminine. Her utter lack of bosoms enhances this perception, adding to the fact that she looks rather odd.
Norali's face is rather long and drawn, with a long nose and wide, slightly protruding eyes. On her worst days, she almost has a 'fishy' appearance to her; in her youth she was certainly mocked for her appearance. The woman utterly lacks a sense of style and understands nothing about color coordination. Normally, she'll throw on whatever is closest to her arm when she dresses in the morning and hopes that it looks somewhat decent.
At least her hair is quite attractive, the light brown color perfectly offsetting her light green eyes. Sadly, that's the only truly attractive thing about the woman, but it's usually enough. Luckily for her, she's personable enough that people tend to look pas her strange looking body.
Personality:
Generally good natured it is hard to get on the bad side of Norali. She is an optimist to the extreme with a large imagination. This Weyrwoman sees endless possibilities and endless chances for success. It is very rare for this women to be down cast or see negative consequences. However, in that, she does have a hard time taking certain things seriously and she often jumps from one project to the next. Her world of endless options often makes her bored when something just isn't moving fast enough for her.
She's good at juggling her responsibilities, but she has a very short fuse. Norali might be a generally sweet person, but has no qualms acting like the Weyrwoman she needs to be. The Southern Weyr was chock full of goldriders, though none had Clutching dragons who were more than willing to share their experience with her. In that sense, Norali has learned a great deal about her responsibilities and what is expected of her as a Weyrwoman.
History:
Born and raised at Ista Weyr, Norali wasn't originally considering becoming a Candidate and taking after her dragonriding parents. Her mother was a greenrider and her father the rider of a brown. Originally, she wanted to be a runner, as she was obsessed with horses, but she was tapped as a beastcrafter instead.
Life as an apprentice was fun, though not as stimulating as she thought it would be. As time went on, she forever wondered about if her life would be better if she followed her family's advice to Stand for a Hatching.
It wasn't until she Turned twenty-two that she actually had the opportunity, even if it wasn't by the best of means. Two great stars fell from the sky and decimated Benden and Fort Weyr. The world was in chaos. All of the brightest minds had been forever silenced. But hark! Candidates were needed for a queen dragon in the South. All the Weyrs, all the Holds, gave up Candidates to give to the golden Egg in the Southern Weyr, completely unaffected by the tragedies of the North.
Norali was lucky enough to be Searched and...even luckier to Impress the gold that came stumbling out of the Egg, Phaelith. Her duties from then on were to understand which responsibilities she would have once her gold matured. When she did, it was a young bronze who caught her and who would eventually die in Threadfall, too young for the strain of leadership.
Weyrmateless, the burden of responsibility fell solely onto the young Weyrwoman.

Dragon/Wher Info
Name: Phaelith
Type: Dragon
Color: Gold
Age: Two Turns
Genealogy: Caylith x Baranth
Appearance:
A thin, long gold, Phaelith greatly resembles her rider. She is oddly long and very lean, her full length is just under fifty-feet. Her hide is a deep, dark golden rod, with more metallic gold swirls running along her wing sails, underbelly, and tail. A thick strip of the similar runs from the tip of her muzzle all the way down her neck and to the tips of her tail. As Phaelith is a small gold, she is far more aerobic than most golds are and rather quick in the air. Her pursuers will inevitably be the type to make quick turns in the air to catch her. However, her lack of muscle strength will tip her flights to be shorter rather than longer.
Personality:
As with any gold, Phaelith is a rather haughty creature who concerns herself with herself, her rider, and an occasional bronze or brown that piques her interest. She, like her rider, is extremely curious and persistent, often to the point of annoyance - although, who would ever complain about a gold? Phaelith is extremely self aware and self-assured. It is very rare that she ever second guesses herself or believes that someone else has a better answer or better solution than she. In that respect, she is extremely stubborn and hard-headed. Unless the great gold learns a lesson for herself, she'll bull-headedly believe she is right...until proven wrong. Because of this, Phaelith hates to admit that she erred in any fashion and, using the dragon excuse that 'she doesn't remember' or that the other in question 'doesn't remember' often saves her dignity.
As far as dragons go, Phaelith has an almost uncanny memory that, on many occassions, startles her rider and those around her. Of course, she does forget many things; it is simply the most important that have a tendency to stick with her. As a gold dragon, she seems to have a strong sense of where she is rather than when, although, she never has any problem touching another dragon with her mind when she needs to.
