1. As with all RPG type games, there will be no godmodding, metagaming, or powerplaying.
Example A, godmodding:
Mary is upset with P'yer, she punches him in the face and laughs as she feels his nose break.
Example B, metagaming:
"Roleplayer A" knows that the Master Harper is going to give everyone a firelizard Egg, but her character Mary does not. Despite this, Mary tells all of her Candidate friends that the Master Harper will be to the Weyr soon to give everyone an Egg.
Example C, powerplaying:
"Roleplayer A" has already stated that her character does not want to go to the Gather, but in spite of this "Roleplayer B" starts a thread with her character P'lyer already taking Mary with him to the Gather.
2. Do not reserve a place in any plot important thread (i.e. a Hatching) reserving a slot for you to post.
Example:
Roleplayer A
OOC: Mary will be here.
3. No going over board with the mating Flight stuff. Yes, sex is inevitable, but fade to black. If you wanna do a boom-boom RP, take it to IM.
4. While their is no character limit, bear in mind that if have a hard time juggling all of your characters, it would be ill-advised to make more. Anyone applying for any character beyond a sixth will be monitored for activity.
4a. A post must be at least one paragraph long (five sentences). Anything less than will be considered spam. I understand writer's block...five sentences is your leeway.
4b. High ranking characters must be played at least once a week, dragonriders/wherhandlers/Weyrlings/Wherlings at least once every two weeks, Candidates MUST BE PLAYED the week before the Hatching. Weyrfolk and Holdfolk of rank must be played once a week and Weyrfolk and Holders at least once every two weeks.
4c. You can have as many ranking characters as you want as long as you keep them all active. The more rankers you have, the more active you must be. A person with more than one ranking character will have the above posting requirements halved.
5b. Absences must be noted in the appropriate section. Ranking or plot important characters can and will be revoked at any time if a plot isn't moving at a steady place to keep members interested and active.
6. Please, please, please remember that the Staff will try to create a dragonet specifically for your character come Impression time. Of course, there just might not be enough bronzes or golds to go around at a particular Hatching. Just because your character doesn't Impress in any given Clutch doesn't necessarily mean that we hate you and that you're never Impressing on this site. Your dragon might not have been Clutched yet
7. Keep your character genders balanced. For every female Candidate you should have a male, etc.
