That accursed burning orb which was fixated within the by sky glowered in ts menace. Its rays touched down upon the South's lush green abundance in deliverance as well as doom. While the South's greenery were being rewarded with a feast, and creature who didn't conduct photosynthesis would be left with a mighty burn.
There was an exception to this, however. Dragons took delight in the sun's appearance, and took advantage by bathing in its warmth. As could be said by one particular dragon. The large bronze was sprawled on his stomach with his long wings stretched its full length.
Lanith's mighty throat rumbled in his satisfaction while his faceted orbs whirled blue to amplify his delight. To him this was a perfect day. It was uneventful and he was spending it with his most important person. But where was this said person?
The dragon lifted his head from his rocky pillow to peer under his left wing. And there was where his rider, K'al rested. The man laid on his back, using his muscular arms as pillows. His usually bound hair was set free to spread across the hard surface.
K'al was also enjoying a light slumber until his dark haven was invaded by the sun's rays. His brows furrowed and his nose scrunched up in discomfort.
"Hey, you overgrown lizard! You're blinding me..."
Lanith's view of his rider was soon obscured by his wings, befor he rested his head upon the ground once more.
