Weyr Lake While the beach is a wonderful place to swim, it's a ruddy chore to take a Weyrling down such a distance for baths. Occassionally, full riders are lazy enough to take a bathing here. Mostly Weyrfolk take like advantage of the man made lake's salt-free waters.
Weyrling Barrakcs The Weyrling Barracks were erected just west of the Weyr Lake, giving the young dragonets an easy walk to the Lake for baths and enough spacious training grounds. The Weyrling Master and Assistants have several large 'weyrs' located here as well.
Gather Square Occassionally and sparingly, the Weyr and Hold share massive gathers with each other, inspiring traders from all over the Northern Continent to brave the short boat crossing to the Weyr for the giant party. Even when the Gather's off, this is an excellent place to hold runner beast races, swordsmanship matches, and other games.
