Margali had become accustomed in a very short time to being active only at night.
And Faranth, the freedom! During the day, she would never be able to do what she was doing right now. She had stripped down to her smallclothes, not too concerned that anyone would find her like that and was lying on the lake beach, flat on her back, staring up at the stars.
Her damp hair and body indicated that she had been taking a moonlight swim, and now was trying to dry off. It was cool, true, but not so cold that she feared taking a chill.
And there would be wher eggs, and maybe she would be found worthy of one. Then, she would have her life.
